Plastic injection process

Plastic injection technique involves molding an element using a mold that houses the part.

Polymers are injected into molds at high pressure through a nozzle, and the pressure is maintained constant while the part cools, giving it its final shape.

Once the process is complete, simply opening the mold will yield the final part.

To achieve the polymer melt, before placing it in the mold, it must follow a complex process that must be fully coordinated with the injection process to control the exact temperature, quantity, and timing.

Therefore, although injection may seem like a simple process since it is the most widely used today, the entire transformation requires exhaustive control, learning, and know-how.
